KMH Film was founded in 2003 by university students studying to be film directors and producer Ferenc Pusztai.
In the short time that has elapsed since then, KMH Film has completed three highly appreciated feature films,
while also making commercials, several short films and documentaries.
Ágnes Kocsis' first feature film Fresh Air received several Hungarian and international acknowledgements and awards. It was selected in the official competition section of the Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes International Film Festival and was nominated for the European Discovery Award of the EFA.
Attila Gigor's first feature film The Investigator was made as an international co-production, and won several awards at the 39th Hungarian Film Week and was also selected for the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival where it was awarded a certificate of merit from the International Jury and the FFIC Jury's Don Quijote Prize. The Investigator has been shown by Hungarian and international cinemas since the Autumn of 2008 with great success and lately was voted to be the best Hungarian Film of the decade.
In May, 2010 Ágnes Kocsis's second feature, entitled Adrienn Pál was completed and started its international career in the Un Certain Regard section of the 63rd Cannes Film Festival, where it won the FIPRESCI-award, and still continues gaining important international acclaim winning more then 20 prestigious awards.
KHM Film is currently working on several Hungarian and international productions that are developed through international script development workshops and are at different phrases of production.
Besides featues KMH Film also specializes in the production of TV commercials. Since 2007 we established ourselves as a production company with high creative and production standards and a staff of friendly and enthusiastic personnel. Our portfolio currently includes over 100 commercials. Our experience stems from producing commercials with local and international directors for the biggest advertising agencies.
